About Wizz Selvey

I am the founder of WIZZ&CO, a brand and retail strategy agency that helps businesses scale in a crowded and fast-moving retail market.

Previously I was Head of Buying at Selfridges and worked across beauty, accessories, lifestyle and fashion. I have also worked with retailers such as Ocado, Next and Fenwick and with global brands to supporting brand founders to gain market share through DTC, scaling with global retailers and creating the hype required in the market to stand out.

I have been dubbed the “Queen of Retail” and sat in your shoes when I was Sales Director for Cowshed and Soho Home where I traded and managed buyer relationships at stores such as John Lewis, Mr Porter, Liberty and Space NK. I am also a Co-founder of Valerie so I understand the challenges of being a founder, we have launched the brand into Liberty, Holland & Barrett and Revital.

I have been pitched to thousands of times as buyer from new brands and at strategy meetings so I know what it takes to stand out. At any one time, I have been trading hundreds of brands, making quick decisions on how to maximise sales or manage underperforming brands.

My passion is to help more brands navigate B2B partnerships and scale their brand to new heights through retailers and DTC channels.
